In our study of Daniel we have discovered that although he wrote his book around 604 B.C. he covered the following areas of our history and his future:-

 1. Babylonian Empire (606 - 536 B.C.)

 2. Persian Empire (536 - 332 B.C.)

 3. Greek Empire, with its four divisions (331 - 146 B.C.)

 4. The Hellenistic period between the death of Alexander the Great and the rise of the Roman Empire including the wars and agreements that would be made between the Seleucids of Syria and the Ptolemies of Egypt (323 - 146 B.C.).

 5. Antiochus Epiphanies desecration of Jerusalem (176 - 164 B.C.).

 6. Public ministry of Jesus (A.D. 26-30).

 7. The destruction of Jerusalem by Titus and his Roman army (A.D. 70)

 8. The Papacy as a world power (6th - 18th centuries).

 9. Mohammedan control of Palestine (6th - 20th centuries).

 10. Development and division of the European states out of the Roman Empire.

 11. The everlasting Kingdom of God, Israel, and its role in the rise and fall of great world empires.

 12. World troubles, and the resurrection, at the "time of the end."
