As I gaze on the ashes of life
at my feet,
When my back is bent, and I'm old and grey,
And turn them over with shaking hands,
And watch them float on the winds away;
I'll stop and I'll pick from the ruins there,
A glittering gem that I chance to spy.
That gem is a memory, a love that was lost.
That gem I shall treasure until I die.
Welcome to The Potts Family Tree home page. I first
began my genealogical research back in 1996. I wanted to learn how to
create a web site and I needed a subject. I found a couple of family
history books and so decided that genealogy would be it. My two
hobbies now complement each other well.
It was my original goal to provide information on my family
alone. This idea soon grew to a desire to provide information for the
Potts family world wide.
Recently many of my Gregg relatives have found this site
as a good source of information so I have been making an attempt to provide more
information for the Gregg family.
